Before you ask, it’s because my nickname is Trina and I’m just 5’3″–how else was I supposed to title my blog?

As for the rest of it: I am a fourth year undergraduate at UCSB, majoring in English and Psychology and planning to graduate in June 2017. I work as a research assistant in the English Department, a writing tutor with the Campus Learning Assistance Services, and a freelance consultant (I mainly do academic research and editing). I spend a lot of time thinking about social injustices and ravioli. I’m leaning toward journalism and/or social work as a career, but regardless of what I end up doing, I know I will never stop writing.

Good luck!!! You will have the time of your life. Just a word of wisdom, make sure you are talking to your parents about how you are paying for college and that you are aware of how much you are taking out in loans if you are… otherwise if you can’t find a job right away, you don’t want to be stuck at home so that you can afford your student loans. Best of luck :)
